Karl Schubert

This is a fine lot to the one man, unfortunately the medals were not with
this lot when I acquired it a few years ago and are lost forever now. I
have not had time as yet to do any research on Karl Schubert or on his
unit 9./ Kampfgeschwader 3. Hopefully at some stage in the near future
I will be able to delve into the history of this and his unit and add the
information to this page. If anyone out there knows anything about the
unit history please feel free to email me with the details.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE MG.34/MG.42 OPTIC SIGHTS AND BOXES THAT I HAVE
COLLECTED OVER THE YEARS. I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR THE MORE UNUSUAL
MAKERS AND ANY ACCESSORIES THAT GO WITH THEM. YOU MAY SPOT AN EXAMPLE OF
THE RARELY SEEN DROP DOWN PERISCOPE AMONGST THE PICTURES.
HERE ARE A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT EXAMPLES OF ORIGINAL TOBRUK TYPE MOUNTS FOR
MG.34 WHICH WERE RECOVERED FROM THE GERMAN TUNNEL IN ST.AUBIN , JERSEY BY MYSELF
SOME 28 YEARS AGO. THEY HAVE BEEN SANDBLASTED AND REPAINTED BUT AS THEY ARE SO
SCARCE THEY ARE WELL WORTHY OF INCLUSION IN MY COLLECTION.
