Single decal SS helmet, this was another of my Normandie private purchase items. I am lucky
enough to have a very good friend in Normandie who located quite a few nice helmets for my
collection. I have only ever seen a handful of SS helmets that you can look at and straight away
you know that its a totally authentic piece, and this is one of them. I have had this one in my
collection for quite some time and am as pleased with it now as when I first bought it.

Here again is a Normandie purchase, and again a really great original piece without any doubt
about its authenticity. Such finds are very few and far between these days and only happen to
the extremely lucky ones amongst us. I was just fortunate to have been looking to buy SS
helmets when they were around.

This is one of my most favourite German helmets, a lovely example of a double decal Field Police.
Its a well used helmet which only adds to its charm. I was a little dissapointed that when I found it, I
saw silver paint around the inside front rim of the helmet. It was a little while later that it was
pointed out to me that this sort of thing was pretty commom with the FP. They would apply silver
paint to help increase the light reflection from lanterns/torches when inspecting identity
documents etc at night..

This little boxed set of items is another little gem. A carton of items sent to a DDAC (Der Deutsche
Automobile Club) member which appears never to have been used. To have such a great little lot to
one man from this motoring organisation is really nice. There's a magnificent car pennant, and a map
as well as other associated bits and pieces. A real time capsule.
