Mg34 /42 drum mags in the carrier. I have a few sets of these and they have all been
over painted some time ago. They still look good and are 100% original, I have no
idea who or when they were repainted but it does look like when they were in service
rather than done by a collector/dealer.
£100
Battery box and optic lead for the MG.34 optic or MG.Z.40 optic. The battery box is
finished in ordnance tan paint which has seen some use in its lifetime. There is also
some numbers painted on the front face in white paint...these could be removed if so
desired. These leads were used on all sorts of German optics but are really handy if you
have a lafette and optic and want to finish it off.
£200
Battery box and optic lead for the mg.34/42. This battery box is in real mint condition and
is finished in its original ordnance tan paint finish...it's still in the paper wrap that it was
issued in. The lead lamp is 3 letter coded ddv, this is a short pattern lead. It will also fir
onto all sorts of other German optical equipment as well.
£200
Mg.34 or Mg.13 unknown yolk, this item is the only one of its type that I have ever seen
and I cannot be sure what it exactly goes on although it will take the 2 mentioned guns. It
needs to be cleaned up and repainted and with a little bit of work would become quite a
rare item in its own right. Someone out there will have one or know exactly what its off.
If you have some time and inclination you could grab yourself a rarity.
£75
Drop down periscope for the MG.34 optical sight. This periscope gives the gunner a few
more inches in which he can take cover when firing the gun on the lafette. It was a pretty
useless piece of kit in reality. Its in quite good condition and with a little effort the over paint
can be removed and if done you should find the 3 letter code and waffenamnpt stamp on the
back of the periscope.
£300
MG.34 flash eliminator soaking container. This was used to pre-soak the eliminator prior to
cleaning in an effort to soften the build up of carbon during the firing of the gum. The container
is in very good condition and still has the leather insert in the lid. On the outer casing there is
also a waffenamnpt stamp.
£50
Battery box and illumination cable with a torch type end. This is quite a scarce lead indeed, you
may find  the everyday optic cable but this type does not turn up to often. It comes with an
ordnance tan finished battery box. A nice piece of kit, that is not too easy to find.
